In keeping with our desire to minimize our footprint on this precious planet, all of the cottages on Common Ground are “recycled”. A hundred years ago the Garden Cottage was the summer kitchen. The Pond Cottage was the workshop. And the Barn Swallow Room – well, it housed Barn Swallows. Today these beautiful old farm buildings are simple, but very comfortable accommodations. You can choose from zero imprint accommodations like the Cottage on the Hill, which uses solar powered LED lights and filtered rain water, to the Garden Cottage with it’s full bath, electric base board heaters and window A/C units.
